ZAD Academy respects the privacy of its users. The protection of personal data is therefore of great importance when carrying out our activities. Personal data is treated and protected with the greatest possible care

What is personal data?
Personal data is information that relates to an individual and can lead to the identification of a person. You share personal data with us if you are a user of the academy. Examples of personal data are your name, your telephone number, your e-mail address or the IP address of your computer.
What information do we collect and why?
Below you can read what information we collect and for what purpose. For these purposes, the provision and processing of your personal data are mandatory because otherwise we cannot register you or provide the program that we promise and agreed upon with you upon registration. This obligation does not, of course, apply to goals for which we separately request your permission.
A. Program enrollment
In order to be able to offer you the program, we collect and process personal data. We explain this further below.
Program Services
As a user, you will communicate and interact, participate in exams, and request certificates.
We do this in order to be able to guide you as a user and thus to execute the agreement that we have concluded with you.
Which data do we process?
In the first place, we process your contact details. Think of your name, address, place of residence, date of birth and e-mail address. Secondly, we process data for user segmentation and program personalization, like gender, profession, educational background, and marital status. We also process data as part of your studies like grades, forum feedback, and certificates.
How long do we keep your data?
ZAD Academy stores only necessary personal data during the program. During the program, ZAD Academy needs to keep the student data to ensure personalized student experience. Historical study data is required to offer future programs and to improve our courses. After completing the program with a positive result, the student receives a certificate. After graduation, we keep the data for twenty years in order to allow the student to regenerate certificates in cases of loss and to process certificate verifications if requested. Another reason for this term is the development and offering of additional courses for graduate students. However, the student has the opportunity to request ZAD Academy to delete his or her data. In case of data deletion, the student progress will be lost, and if the student would like to continue the program, he must re-register and start from the beginning of the program. In the case of a graduate student, the student is not able to regenerate his certificates or process certificate verifications. If the deleted student would like to study newly designed programs in the future, the student needs to re-register and start from the beginning of the program.
B. Administration
If you register with us, we record and process personal data. Think of name and address details and various data related to the program. Changes may occur during the program. For example, if you emigrate, you have the ability to change your location details.
We do this to serve you as a customer and to provide the program. In other words: to be able to execute the agreement that we have concluded with you.

Your data is yours and therefore you have rights. For example, you have the right to ask us to change your address details. Below you can see which rights you have.

If you want to make use of one of your rights, you can contact the responsible department for data processing at [email protected]. You will receive a confirmation of receipt from us after which we will process the request. You can only submit a request for yourself. Requests need to be requested by the user, else we are not authorized to process the request.
Our response
You will receive a response within one month after receiving your request. If the request is complex it may take more time to process and if that occurs we will inform you and it will not exceed more than three months.
